the city divided 2 distinct sections. kotwali bazaar , surrounding markets referred lower dharamshala or dharamshala. further mountain mcleodganj separated in between village of ganchen kyishong, home of tibetan government-in-exile. steep, narrow road connects mcleodganj dharamshala , accessible taxis , small cars, while longer road winds around valley use buses , trucks. mcleodganj surrounded pine, himalayan oak, , rhododendron.


the main crops grown in valleys below rice, wheat , tea.
