national final

the national final took place on 16 july 2016. national final consisted of twenty competing acts participating in televised production. each of 20 participants sang song of own choice. after of them had performed, jury , televoting cast votes - each juror had 25% weighting in final result (so 75% overall), televoting having 25% share. contestants ranked 1-20, 1 being best. christina magrin announced winner of national final.

on 27 october 2016, revealed christina s song junior eurovision song contest 2016 revealed entitled parachute . song, composed , written florent boshnjaku , matt ”muxu” mercieca, presented live on tvm news bulletin , broadcast simultaneously on tvm.com.mt.
