on 3 november 1858, royal bavarian eastern railway company opened line between munich , landshut. year later, line extended regensburg. no train station built in independent municipality of moosach. on 28 september 1892, line, ran along route of landshuter allee, relocated run east of nymphenburg park through moosach , south münchen-laim. line built double-track , new station established in moosach. after incorporation of moosach in munich in 1913, moosach station renamed munich-moosach. on 28 september 1925, munich-moosach station electrified line munich freising. 10 may 1927, electric locomotives run on entire line regensburg. in 1944, station served 31 local trains munich freising, landshut , regensburg each day. 1972, station facilities rebuilt operations of s-bahn, including, inter alia, raising of platforms height of 76 centimetres. since 1970, operation of trackwork has been controlled siemens class 60 (sp dr s60) track plan push button interlocking. since opening of s-bahn network in 1972, station has been served @ 20-minute intervals s-bahn line s 1; local services continue stop @ station in peak hour.
