on july 30th 2017, cfpa , xcmg corporation backed workers broke ground @ oda neba elementary school in akaki on 1st of 41 water cellars. completed in october 2016 cellar began providing water 300 students , teachers. construction work on remaining 40 water cellars began in february 2017 built in 5 villages east , north of addis abba in kticha , chelle regions. work on 19 underground 21 above ground water cellars proceeds apace , on schedule. construction overseen water harvesting experts spend 4 days per week in each village guiding work carried out teams of skilled , unskilled laborers.

smiling children sudan school feeding program managed cfpa , operated sudanese cso al-birr al tawasul (bto) part of our commitment sustainable development goals of eradicating extreme hunger , poverty promoting education. @ end of 2016, smiling children project provided school lunches 3,630 students across sudan. on course of 2016, 2.4 million yuan transferred bto nationwide school feeding, while cfpa retained 0.21 million yuan cover project administrative expenses.
haiti: haiti humanitarian aid operation
hurricane matthew made landfall in caribbean island nation of haiti on october 3rd 2016, razing houses, uprooting trees, inundating field , destroying municipal water supply systems. haitian ministry of defense announced on 10th hurricane mathew left @ least 372 people dead, 246 people injured, on 170,000 people homeless of 140,000 required immediate humanitarian intervention, , caused outbreaks of cholera in remote flood affected regions. cfpa @ once began mobilize humanitarian resources, , on october 12th dispatched emergency aid workers haiti. cfpa surveyed disaster site, conducted medical patrols, , distributed aid materiel in series of operations addressing immediate humanitarian needs of hurricane struck communities. materiel relief provided valued @ on usd 30,000, , directly benefited on 2035 hurricane victims, , included medical supplies used treat 436 patients.
