stein church ruins (stein kirkeruin) located @ steinsfjorden. constructed in latter half of 1100s, built of sandstone , limestone area. chapel had rectangular nave , narrower, short choir area. sanctuary had portals in west , south. second half of 1500s, chapel no longer in use. in 1570 s, inventory had been transferred hamar cathedral.
