cadet life

cadets not referred freshmen, sophomores, juniors, or seniors. instead officially called fourth class, third class, second class, , first class cadets, or taruna-taruni akmil (cadets of academy) whole. national military college cadets, male , female, come on indonesia foreign exchange cadets many countries of world.


the corps of cadets officially organized full regiment of cadets 4 battalions of 3 companies each. today cadet battalions led cadet sergeant majors , cadet staff sergeant majors, similar service academies, until 2000 regiment staffed military personnel in keeping former dutch practice leading 4th class cadets. given current curriculum , joint service training program being done fourth class cadets battalions manned third, second, , first class cadets in order of increasing precedence.

the corps of drums canka lokananta (drum band genderang seruling canka lokananta ) , regimental band of military academy magelang (korps music upacara akademi militer) official military band , corps of drums, respectively, of indonesian military academy, having started in 1958 after reopening of military academy in current magelang campus, senior premier musical representatives of indonesian army. while band (composed of 30 musicians) manned active duty military personnel assigned academy, corps of drums of around 80 drummers, fifers , trumpeters manned officer cadets part of corps of cadets. both organizations fulfill of official musical requirements of academy, including military , patriotic ceremonies, public concerts, sporting events , radio , television broadcasts, social activities corps of cadets, alumni of academy , entire community of magelang. gita bahana nusantara marching band (gbnmb) of taruna nusantara high school affiliated corps of drums. while band led director of music , bandmaster, corps of drums led senior drum major , 4 assistant drum majors.
