zavrč won play-off fixture against aluminij kidričevo score 4–3 on aggregate club unsuccessful in obtaining licence play in top division next season, due financial reasons. in 2015 zavrč acquired goalkeeper hrvoje Čubić croatian third division side mosor. transfer costs player 7,000 euros , both teams agreed 1 thousand paid , rest until 14 april 2016. zavrč paid last installment on 14 april, however, unsuccessful in obtaining signed paperwork form croatian side on time. according club president zavrč kept informing football association of slovenia issue , sent license documentation without signed document mosor, did send bank sheet confirmation amount paid in full. date on bank sheet 14 april, however, according rules of football association of slovenia deadline documentation 31 march. on 3 may club informed not meet criteria obtain license next season. Čubić left club in december 2015.
