the medieval keep today forms 1 part of castle complex. square tower roof lantern, surrounded partially preserved stone wall openings cannon. in tower prison located. present furnishings, however, date 1640s. tower incorporated baroque edifice when built in 1660s. baroque part of castle three-storey building built of brick. main building entrance, 2 wings project form between them courtyard. wings 1 storey lower enlarged in 1825–32. inside, castle displays rich interiors several centuries.


apart main building, castle surrounded large park , several annexes. notable among these orangery, designed gjörwell , erected in 1820s.
